OUR BUSINESS MODEL
The driving force behind the Town Planning Co-operative was our wish to offer greater flexibility and financial rewards, without the constraints of the traditional corporate setting.
Fuller Long's business model is designed to cater for people driven by a desire to work for themselves, whilst benefiting from the support and greater opportunities usually only offered by larger corporate firms. Our fee share reward system comes with all the support you need to run your own business: by providing access to fresh enquiries, we can help get you started or take your business to the next level.
ways to earn
Consultant Client – bring in a new client independently of Fuller Long's direct marketing and you'll receive a high, fixed percentage of all fees you bill.
Co-op Referral – if you need help from other Co-op members to complete your Consultant client work (for example, extra planning hours, heritage assistance or even highways advice) you'll continue to benefit financially from every hour they work.
The Fuller Long model is focussed on our people and their ability to collaborate within the network to create value for clients and profits for themselves. Our network of property professionals work just like a traditional consultancy, with agile use of technology that enables consultants to record and share work-schedules, communicate with fellow consultants, receive second opinions and circulate relevant information amongst their peers. The addition of other services such as Heritage & Highways specialists to the Co-op encourages members to collaborate still further and earn referral fees, without the need to manage any employees. In short, we offer the flexibility and reward of working for yourself with the bonus of a recognised brand identity and professional support.
Working with Fuller Long has enabled me to obtain an optimum work-life balance, which I believe is a crucial element of being happy and professionally motivated.
With a strong focus on the people behind the company, we facilitate cooperation and collaboration to provide a truly bespoke service while keeping overheads low, thereby creating value for clients and profits for our members. "We wanted to focus on the strengths and life-work balances of our individual consultants," explains Ryan Fuller, Managing Director. "We recognised that many talented planners want the opportunity to work around their families and remove the need to commute to and from work. Traditional employers are often unable to accommodate this need." Under our umbrella, you are able to maintain your own company name and become affiliated with our Co-operative. At no point are you considered an employee. You have complete freedom to work how, where and when you like. Part of this process includes registering your existing client following, thereby ring-fencing them and ensuring that they remain within your control.
